Overview
FlexPay is a failed payment recovery solution that uses AI-driven machine learning and behavioral science to reduce the impact credit card declines have on revenue and retention.
The FlexPay Legacy API (v1.0) enables recovery of failed subscription and recurring payments through AI-driven optimization and behavioral outreach.
This version of the API supports two recovery models:
- Invisible Recovery, which optimizes payment retries through intelligent routing and issuer feedback.
- Engaged Recovery, which initiates customer outreach for declines requiring direct action.
These methods helped merchants reduce involuntary churn by recovering failed payments that would otherwise have been lost.
ImportantThis documentation covers the legacy FlexPay API (v1.0), which has been replaced by the Revaly API (v2.0).
All new integrations should use the updated Revaly API.
The integration guides for this legacy version remain available to support existing merchants who are still connected through the FlexPay API. While the endpoints continue to function, this version is no longer being enhanced or expanded.
