Adaptive AVS Logic for Partial AVS Mismatches

We’ve introduced Adaptive AVS Logic, a treatment designed to recover approvals lost due to partial AVS mismatches (W, Z, and A AVS codes), which are often caused by minor address formatting inconsistencies.

When a transaction fails with a partial AVS mismatch, Revaly now automatically detects the opportunity, refines the address data (such as normalizing street formatting or correcting ZIP/postal codes), and performs a targeted retry only when issuer signals indicate a high likelihood of success. If the retry approves, you recover revenue immediately with no additional integration work or checkout changes. If it doesn’t, the transaction continues through your existing recovery flows as it does today.

This means more approvals on fixable AVS declines and a smoother experience for your customers, all handled quietly in the background.
